29 April 2008 The AAS and Association for AAE present an evening reception for K-12 teachers to gain knowledge and resources to take back to their classrooms to cover the latest science being discussed during the conference week. At the reception, teachers will be exposed to background scientific content through presentations related to the conference sessions, will have a chance to mingle with astronomers and will take home resources (and new connections) to use in their classrooms. The reception will be held on Sunday 1 June 2008 from 5:30 - 8:30pm at the Renaissance St. Louis Grand Hotel, Majestic B. Registration for this even is now open. Space is limited so be sure register fast! |
